GUEST BOOK CGI SCRIPT |
Guest Book is a simple illustration of how a CGI (Common Gateway Interface) program works. You can install the online guestbook to collect visitors' opinions and feedback on your Web site. This information can be used to improve your Web site, product and service standards.
Two documents are involved here. The first document contains HTML codes for collecting and displaying messages. These codes are to be inserted into your guestbook.html. The second document, guestbook.pl, is a CGI program written in Perl language.
You must save this CGI program in the same directory as your guestbook file.
You can customize the script to suit your purpose by setting the parameters for the guestbook prior to downloading. The script will be sent to you via email. |
